Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Simphony Extensibility Programmer to join our team. As an Oracle Simphony Extensibility Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions using Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software. You will work with the business partners to understand their business requirements and objectives and develop custom extensions, integrations, and customizations to meet their needs. Candidate must have stellar communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test software extensions, customizations, and integrations using programming languages such as HTML5, .NET/WPF, C#, XAML, Microsoft MEF (Managed Extensibility Framework).\
Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand their business requirements for the Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software suite.
Ensure that all software solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software extensions and customizations.
Provide support to the Field Operations during installation and deployment of Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software solutions.
Stay current with new and emerging technologies related to Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software development with knowledge and hands on Oracle Simphony 18.x/19.x software.
Strong programming skills in HTML5, C#, .NET/WPF.
Experience with Oracle Simphony Extensibility Tools such as Simphony Extension Framework, Simphony Business Object Model, and Simphony Configuration Management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Simphony Cloud. Experience with Simphony Transaction Service Gen1 and Gen2.
Familiarity with other Oracle Hospitality products such as Simphony 18.x/19.x, Opera, Suite8, and RES 3700.
Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Education/Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
