I am an experienced professional in the field of technology designing, implementing and managing the

creation of customer solutions to address business issues to increase revenue and reduce operating

expenses through architecture upgrades, consolidation or replacement of existing hardware and software with

new strategic, state-of-the-art, more cost effective enterprise solutions.  I have successfully designed and

managed projects for large local, regional and international corporations while working for IBM as a senior

architect.

 

My responsibilities vary by project and generally involve a hybrid role of enterprise architect and

manager throughout the Agile and systems development life cycle. My primary focus has remained within the

data management, project management and business intelligence domains, I incorporate my many years of

enterprise hardware platform implementation, software integration, application development knowledge and

management experience into the architectural design to provide a strategic, state of the art,

end-to-end solution.  I have managed teams from 5 to as many as to 26 associates and implemented

architectural solutions utilizing the latest in virtualization, private cloud, SOA, middleware, data security,

Managed the data quality team and data governance design efforts for the construction of a centralized, customer centric, real time data warehouse and operational data store to support a consumer portal utilizing microservice API’s that facilitates access to all membership, product and claims data originally housed in mainframe legacy systems.

Implemented designs and processes to consolidate physical web servers, exploit the latest IBM Z series processors and ZIPP specialty engines in order to offload MIPPS, and migrate to service oriented architecture. The following tasks were completed in support of this strategic initiative:       

•   Created and implemented a strategic design to consolidate four IMS claims processing systems
